Rodd and Gunn Popup Shop at Rothmans
Last week my friend went to down to Park Avenue in NY city with their Pointers for the
debut of Rodd & Gunn clothing at Rothmans for a photo shoot. It was
amazing and the two of them had so much fun! Everyone was so nice and they
were all very concerned about the dogs
well being in the heat. They took a ton of photos. What I really loved is they
invited PRO rescue dogs so Pepper and Cupcake went to proudly show the
world how beautiful rescues can be.Pointers are such a great breed and if you dont have one or two in your life you may want to check out the following rescue organizations.

Puerto Rican Eggnog
A friend in England just asked me for a recipe for eggnog being a dutiful friend I passed along a family recipe made with ice cream...Enjoying this beverage at the holiday seasons reminded me of a shop long gone on Kings Street in Charleston...they served this delicious Puerto Rican Punch over the holidays
Coquito is a traditional punch served at Christmas and New Years celebrations. The drink is similar to eggnog with rum. This particular recipe does not call for raw eggs. Nor does it call for you to crack open a fresh coconut. It's a very simple mixed drink.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour, 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 15-ounce cans cream of coconut
- 2 14-ounce cans condensed milk
- 6 ounces white rum (use less if you like)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon coconut (or vanilla) extract
Preparation:
1. Mix all ingredients in a blender. 2. Refrigerate for about an hour before serving. Serve cold.
Serves: This recipe makes about 36 ounces.
